Help me decide: Xbox 360 or PS3

Ok boys and girls... here's the situation:

I currently play on my housemate's PS3, he doesn't mind too much that i hog it :/ but obviously i'm not gonna live here forever - just until may probably.

I recently player on my mate's bro's Xbox on WaW and found alot of things about it attractive:

- More users online
- Bigger community
- Less skilled players (in general)

Now i'm thinking economically about the difference between the two..:

Xbox is cheaper (140 + game (35) + membership (30)** = about £200) - PS3 (220 + game (45) = about £265)
- quite a big difference there.

Xbox comes with a headset whereas the PS3 i'd have to buy one (+ another 15 = £280).. its all adding up.

I am buying a big tele of my Dad soonish for about £100 so i don't need to worry too much about that. It is a HD TV.

** is a silver Xbox membership free? i saw the gold membership costs £30.

PS3 is the future. That's why I voted that way. Nuff said.

i hear what your sayin but they are still releasing games on Xbox consistently.. and the ps3 is just so damn expensive..

I'm not saying Xbox is rubbish, I'm just trying to point out that MGS4, Killzone 2 etc are PS3 only, though on the other hand Xbox has Gears and Halo. Its a tough choice. Its totaly up to you.
